Towards a new type of capitalism? Continuities, ruptures, crossroads
The global financial crisis since 2007, the subsequent euro crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalisation, attempts to de-carbonise the economy and increasing imperialist rivalries have intensified present-day capitalism. How is the relation between continuities and ruptures? Are we witnessing a transition to a new mode of development of capitalism? And if so, what shape is this taking?
